We passionately believe in using data to support clinical decisions and track progress with our clients and that is why we have invested in a full suite of K Force equipment in our clinic. K force is an innovative way of measuring and tracking strength, range of motion and balance for virtually any body part or injury. Because we feel so strongly about giving our patients real data and direction we now use this new technology as part of our standard assessment and rehab sessions.

Rehab Gaming

The K Force suite also provides an engaging and stimulating rehab gaming environment which our patients find really helpful when rehabilitating from complex injuries. The gaming environment provides great motivation for our patients and  allows you to track your progress whilst seeing increases in strength, balance and movement!

How much does it cost?

We believe that all Physiotherapy appointments should have access to accurate measurements of strength and range of motion, gone are the days where physios can simply tell you an area is weak or deficient just by look or feel, you need data to back that up,  and that’s why it is inclusive of your normal Physiotherapy sessions!

Strength and Motion measurement

We have a range of force and motion measurement devices which help us to get closer insights into muscle imbalances and deficits on how you move. Metrics such as maximal force, rate of force development and joint range of motion can be easily and accurately tracked with our equipment. We then use this data to help us diagnose your problem and then re measure it after treatments to track your progress.

Force plates

In addition to our strength and motion measurements we can also track your balance, stance and strength asymmetries by using our force plates. Our force plates closely monitor how you stand, balance and move giving measurements such as centre of pressure analysis and squat symmetry analysis. The KFORCE plates enable measurement of numerous different static and dynamic balance assessments in a wide range of movements ensuring we will be able to accurately locate the root cause of the problem.
