Rowan is an experienced HCPC-registered Physiotherapist and graduate of the Great Northern Physiotherapy Graduate Development Programme, where he built a strong clinical reputation for his expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and osteoarthritis management. Since completing the programme, he has become a cornerstone of the clinic, known for his ability to combine his clinical knowledge with a highly personable and supportive approach.
Graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Physiotherapy, Rowan has previous experience across a range of clinical settings including musculoskeletal medicine, community rehabilitation, and neurological physiotherapy, giving him a well-rounded foundation that he now applies to every patient he sees. He is trained in acupuncture, shockwave therapy, and laser therapy, and is well regarded for his hands-on treatment approach and ability to design rehabilitation programmes that are tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.
Rowan has played a leading role in developing and delivering our successful Stronger Steps and Beyond Balance programmes, supporting patients with strength, mobility, and balance to help them stay active and independent. He has a particular interest in osteoarthritis care, where he focuses on helping patients improve their function, manage symptoms, and stay active.
Outside the clinic, Rowan is a keen footballer (having even played at a high level in Spain), and enjoys staying active through running, strength training, and keeping busy with his other passion—working on cars.
I’m passionate about empowering patients to take charge of their recovery and achieve lasting physical health through personalised, trust-based care.
