Richard is a highly skilled and very experienced Physiotherapist, he joined the Great Northern Physiotherapy team in the summer of 2016 as lead of the Diagnostic Ultrasound and Injection Therapy Service. Richard is qualified in Ultrasound Scanning, Injection Therapy and practises as an Independent Prescriber. Richard qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1989 and has worked continuously in Musculoskeletal healthcare since 1991. He has post graduate qualifications in Orthopaedic Medicine and Injection therapy and Masters degrees in Clinical research and Professional Practice. In addition to this he has trained as a Sonographer and has Ultrasonography Training at Masters degree level, recognised by the Consortium for Accreditation of Sonographic Education (CASE). He has extensive experience within the NHS and the private sector providing musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessments, including injections, ultrasound scans and ultrasound guided injections. He works closely with all of the team at Great Northern to ensure that you are getting the best Physiotherapy and rehabilitation available.

Following the most recent Government advice and with guidance from Public Health England and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy we are now able to take bookings for face to face appointments.
